The third word is also called good. In English, this is called a word of praise, a word of honor or a word of honor for God.

importance of the Third Kalima tamjeed

The main purpose of this prayer is for believers to witness the greatness of God, praise and worship Him.

It was mentioned in Sunan Abi Dawood chapter 19 that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, remembers God at all times.

Things happen by God’s will. Abu Huraira narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim that God is with those who are with him.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “God said: I am what my servant is waiting for, and if he remembers me I am next to him, and if he remembers me in his heart, I will remember him in his heart.” .

This feeling is repeated in verses 152-153 of Surat Al-Baqarah:

“Remember me, I want to remind you. And thank me, do not deny me. Whoever believes, seeks help from patience and prayer. God is with the sick.”

The third word (also called the glorification word) is the perfect way to glorify and remember God. Dhikr contains two basic concepts, the conscious effort required to move your tongue, and the other is the intention or its effect on your heart.

Yes, the remembrance of God is rewarded, as in hadith 2910 Jami’ al-Tirmidhi “[whoever reads the Book of God] will be rewarded with it, and one tenth of a similar reward.”

But there are also procedures (evaluations) of motives (niyyah) so that each person gets what he wants. Our goal is not to remember the third word to impress friends, family or the like, but to remember it as a demonstration of your devotion to God Almighty.

The English translation of the third word is,

“Glory be to God, and praise be to God. There is no one to worship but God, and God is the Greatest. There is no might or authority but God, the Most High, the Great.”

Dar al-Salaam mentions in the hadith of al-Hasan in Sunan al-Nasa’i 924 that Ibn Abi Ufa said: A man came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said:

I can’t learn anything from the Qur’an. Teach me something I can say don’t read the Qur’an. He said: Say: Glory be to God, and praise be to God, and there is no god but God, and God is great, and the power and the forces are only with God, the Great. God is the greatest of worship, and there is no power or authority but God Almighty.”

In Al-Bukhari 7386, the Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) said that God is at hand and accepts all prayers, and the recitation of the hula and strength except by God is one of the treasures of Paradise.

We traveled with the Prophet (peace be upon him) and every time we went to the heights we said: “God is great.” The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Do not worry too much! You do not leave the deaf or the absent except for the one who hears and sees and is very close. Then he came to me and I said in my heart, ‘God has no power.’” He said to me: O Abdullah bin Ghaith! Say: There is neither might nor authority but God, because he is one of the treasures of Paradise. Or: Do you want me to tell you?  second kalma shahadat
